Refund policy
Our Approach to Returns
AKAY pieces are made to be kept, not sent back. Every garment is built for the years ahead, so before you order, we encourage a careful look at the size guide and product description. That said, if something genuinely isn't right, we make the process straightforward.
Return and Exchange Window
You may request a return or exchange within 7 days of delivery. To qualify, the item must be unworn, unwashed, undamaged, and in its original packaging with all tags attached.
To start a return or exchange, email info@theakay.com with your order number and reason for return. We will confirm eligibility and share pickup or drop-off instructions.
Refunds
Once your returned item is received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5-7 business days. For Cash on Delivery orders, refunds are issued via bank transfer or store credit, as agreed with you.
Original shipping charges, if any, are non-refundable. Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect.
Exchanges
Size or variant exchanges are subject to availability. If your requested size is out of stock, we will offer a refund or store credit instead.
Non-Returnable Items
Final sale and discounted items are not eligible for return or exchange unless defective on arrival.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@theakay.com with photos of the item and packaging, and we will arrange a replacement or full refund at no extra cost to you.
